What to do when you get to Assembly Square

Location/Parking: Musicians should head to 399 Revolution Drive, Somerville, MA 02145. You can park free for 3 hours at the garage to the right of Assembly Row T stop. From the parking lot, head to the West Lobby through the revolving doors. Upon entering, sanitize your hands, swap your facemask for a new one (provided by MGB), and sanitize again. At that point, head to the end of the hallway to the left and enter the ballroom. You should see the BHM banner in that corner. Safety protocols: We have worked with MGB to provide a safe environment for all. In addition to the entrance protocols and screening for symptoms, musicians will be socially distanced from patients and staff and are required to wear a mask at all times.

Timing: As part of safety protocols, please plan to finish your set around 10 minutes before the hour to allow for a safe transition.

Repertoire: Music selections should be soothing, providing a means to relax patients who may be anxious. We have been specifically asked to avoid amplified instruments, singing, and wind instruments.

What to bring/wear: Be sure to bring a music stand with you! MGB will have chairs available; please give them a quick wipe after use. We encourage you to wear blue and yellow (Boston Hope colors) if you have them; if not, please wear a solid color top and black pants.
