Victoria Garcia is a freelance trombonist in the Boston area. She has played with the Boston Pops, Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), Berkshire Symphony, Plymouth Philharmonic, Lexington Symphony, Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and many other chamber orchestras around town.
She is the Associate Member for the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and is a member of the “Boston Based” trombone quartet; winners of the International Trombone Association, Trombone Quartet Competition in June 2017. Victoria was also a Participant of the 2017 Alessi Seminar, a prestigious trombone seminar organized by the Principal Trombonist of the New York Philharmonic, Joseph Alessi. Victoria is also an alumni of the National Repertory Orchestra, a prestigious summer music festival located in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Besides her musical endeavors, Victoria also pursued her teacher training of the Alexander Technique and became a certified teacher in May 2017 from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Victoria received her Master in Music degree from the New England Conservatory while studying under Stephen Lange, Second Trombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and received her Bachelor of Music from The Boston Conservatory while studying under John Faieta.
