A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Reese Williams is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the New England Conservatory where he studies with Jason Snider. Prior to his studies in Boston, he studied with David Pandolfi, principal horn of the Alabama Symphony. He has a particular interest in contemporary music for horn, as well as in orchestral music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
As an orchestral musician, Reese has performed with many ensembles in the Boston area, including the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the New England Philharmonic. He has also performed in concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Boston’s Symphony Hall, and the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.
