Born in Davis, CA, Eunghee Cho recently won Silver Medal and the special award for Outstanding Chinese New Piece Performance at the Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition in Harbin, China. He graduated magna cum laude and as a Steven & Kathryn Sample Renaissance Scholar from the University of Southern California.
Eunghee has performed with A Far Cry, Da Camera Society, and Chamber Music Society of Sacramento, and as soloist with Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra, and Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. He has performed in such festivals as Rencontres Franco Americaines de Musique Chambre in Missillac, France, and the Taos School of Music Chamber Music Festival, and has actively participated in classes at the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival and Académie Musicale de Villecroze.
Outside of music, Eunghee can be found engaging in such activities as pick-up soccer or dawdling in a local coffee shop.
