The resources on this page are to help cultivate more joy in your life.

Engaging in creative activities, for example, can help to find positive meaning, promote happiness, develop self-awareness and decrease stress. Music has been shown to have specific healing properties ranging from decreasing stress hormones, blood pressure and heart rate as well as enhancing brain development and resiliency. Art has been used as a complement to medical treatment and can help to process feelings, increase self-esteem, and reduce stress and anxiety.

GUIDELINES FOR PROVIDERS/CAREGIVERS:

We have designed carefully-curated musical playlists:

  • ENERGY — This playlist will get you moving with cheerful and upbeat music.

  • ENGAGEMENT — This playlist will engage your mind with dynamic and lively performances by our rockstar artists.

  • EVENING CALM — Soothe your soul with relaxing and calming music geared to aid in winding down the day. 

Suggestions for how to use our playlists:

  • Have a socially distant watch party in a common room. Simply pick a playlist and press play! You will hear and see a specially curated playlist lasting about 30 minutes. 

  • If your institution has a television channel, play a playlist over the station as part of your daily programming. 

  • Let your residents know that they can access our videos at any time through our website on their computer or cell phone
